Alumni of the area are upset over the news of the closure of the school. According to them, it is very sad to hear that this school will be closed for so long. Uttarpara Municipality Administrator Dilip Yadav is an alumnus of this school. In this context, he said, ‘- My brothers and sisters have studied in this school. I saw the school closure notice. I will discuss with the government so that the school does not close down. I will do whatever I can to open the school
It may be mentioned that Hindmotor High School was established in 1948 within a few years of the establishment of the Ambassador Factory. This private school was under the jurisdiction of the Board of Secondary Education. After the closure of the factory in 2014, the situation started getting worse. Although the school is closed, school authorities say the school, which has an English medium on the Hind Motors campus, will now be able to admit students.
