3 members of interstate ATM fraud ring arrested in Birbhum

Three members of an interstate ATM fraud ring were caught in Birbhum. According to sources, police arrested three youths from Haryana during a search of Naka on Saturday. Lots of ATM cards and even ATM opening keys were recovered from the suspects. Investigators were shocked to see that.

According to the Birbhum police, an employee of the ATM, who was calling the Murari police station on Saturday, said that a vehicle from Haryana was following them. Immediately, the police started searching Naka on Murarai-Nalhati road. The car was parked. There were 3 youths in the car. They searched and recovered a local pistol, 2 rounds of ammunition, 15 debit cards, about 50,000 rupees and 3 keys to open the ATM.

According to the police, the names of the arrested are Aslam, Azaharuddin, Tajmul Hossain. Their home is in Haryana. They use ATMs in different parts of the country.

How the detainees cheated is still unclear to the police. Detectives also want to know where the key to open the ATM came from and why they were moving behind the money laundering car. Police are taking help of technology experts in this regard.
