A stronger depression is coming next Sunday

Due to the cyclone, the eyebrows dropped again in the Bay of Bengal amid heavy rains in Kolkata and adjoining districts. Another depression could hit the coast of South Bengal next Sunday. Due to which there is a possibility of heavy rain in the districts including Kolkata.

According to the forecast, a cyclone will form on the coast of Myanmar in the Bay of Bengal on Friday. Which can lead to obvious depression by increasing energy. It will enter the land from Puri next Sunday through a place in the Ganges.



Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in South Bengal. If low pressure enters the territory through Orissa, heavy rains may occur in the western districts. South 24 Parganas, Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, East Burdwan, East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Jhargram and Bankura are likely to receive heavy rainfall due to this depression.

The maximum wind speed near the center of the depression can be 40-45 kilometers per hour. Gusty wind speed can be 60 kilometers per hour.

Large areas of South Bengal have already been inundated by continuous rains. It is feared that the situation in Pujo’s face may become more complicated due to the rain.
