Aligarh News: Angry students burn effigy of VC of Agra University over fee collection, students warn of agitation if demands are not met
Lucky Sharma, Aligarh: Students of Dharma Samaj Mahavidyalaya in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh burnt an effigy of the Vice Chancellor of Agra University to collect fees twice a year. The students demonstrated outside the college and raised slogans. The students warned of a violent agitation if their demands were not met.

Teaching work did not go on despite charging fees Students of Dharma Samaj College gathered in large numbers. The students told that the college administration collected fees from the students of BA first semester. Despite that, there was not even a single day of teaching work in the college. What fees should students pay when classes are not running in the school? Now the college administration is collecting the fees for the second semester.

There was resentment among the students due to non-running of classes in the college and collection of fees twice. A large number of students gathered outside the college and the dictatorship would not work, the Vice Chancellor started shouting slogans of Murdabad. The students expressed their anger by burning an effigy of the VC at the college gate, protesting against the VC of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University and the college administration. There is a demand of the students that if the college administration is charging the fees of the second semester. So classes should be run for the smooth study of the students in the college. If the demands of the students are not accepted soon, the students will be forced to agitate by taking to the streets.
