The Central Government has taken seriously the incidents of recent bomb hurling at the house of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from West Bengal, Arjun Singh. The Center has increased the level of security provided to MPs to ‘Z’ category. In fact, bombs were hurled at the house of 59-year-old Singh, a Lok Sabha member from West Bengal’s Barrackpore seat, in North 24 Parganas district recently.
Officials said that Arjun Singh was getting ‘Y+’ category of security but in view of recent violent incidents against him and his family members, it has been increased to ‘Z’ category. Now their security will be handled by the armed commandos of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Some miscreants had hurled bombs at Singh’s house. A few days later, on Tuesday morning, similar blasts happened again outside his house.

Now there will be such security
To this, the BJP leader alleged that the ruling Trinamool Congress was trying to get him killed. Under ‘Z’ category security, the MP will be accompanied by around six-seven commandos during his travels in the state and an additional contingent will provide security at his residence. Earlier only two security personnel lived with him.
