
Union Power Minister RK Singh said that the power plants set up in Bihar have the capacity to generate 7,750 MW of electricity. He said that more plants with a capacity of 1,980 MW were under construction in the state.
2 more hi-tech ambulances from NTPC to IGIMS
The Union Power Minister announced that two more ambulances would be provided to IGIMS following a request from the State Energy Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav in this regard. The four ambulances that were flagged off on Tuesday included auto loading stretcher, There are facilities like wheelchair-cum-ladder chair, transport ventilator, syringe infusion pump, multi parameter monitor, vacuum splint, portable oxygen cylinder with regulator and emergency kit. Apart from four ambulances, NTPC had earlier given 10 more ambulances to IGIMS.
Contribution of NTPC in the field of health

Preparation to deliver ambulance on phone in Bihar within 20 minutes- Government
Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that the cabinet has already given its approval for Advance Life Saving Ambulance (ALSA) in every black and the process of procuring 1000 such ambulances is already on. According to Mangal Pandey, ‘the government will ensure that the ambulance reaches within 20 minutes of the call in urban areas and 30 minutes in rural areas’.
