Kekdi City Police Station Officer Sudhir Kumar Upadhyay said that on January 9, Kesarpura resident Sanwarlal Gurjar filed a bike theft report. He told that he went to Kanoj village for some work, where he parked the bike on the maid of a farm and went to see the farm pounds. During this someone took his bike.

Police registered a case and formed a special team. Meanwhile, the police team came to know that the activities of Nandlal alias Nanda Kumawat, a resident of Nayagaon of Kumawat, are suspicious. He has also been arrested in the past for bike theft. When the police caught him and interrogated him thoroughly, he confessed to committing several incidents of bike theft. He has confessed to committing 17 incidents at Kekdi, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara and other places.

The police have recovered 17 bikes on his behest. According to the police, 9 cases of bike theft are registered against the accused in different police stations of the state including Kekdi. He has been arrested in the past in the incident of bike theft by Police Stations Muhana, Shiprapath, Vishwakarma, Shyamnagar, Pratapnagar District Jaipur and Kekdi Police Station.
