The doctors of Rela Hospital have given new life to a two-year-old girl by doing a bone marrow transplant. The girl is from Andhra Pradesh. She was suffering from Thalassemia. It is a rare life-threatening blood disorder. It affects the body’s ability to make hemoglobin and red blood cells. This problem was there since she was six months old. Since then she was on regular blood transfusion. Dr. Deendayalan and his team successfully completed this transplant (Bone Marrow Stem Cell). For this, the father donated bone marrow. For financial help in this treatment, various NGOs and Crowdfunding Agency provided financial help to the family.
