Case was registered in violation of secrecy act
After this, two days later, the Mumbai Police registered a case against Devendra Fadnavis in the case of violation of the Secrecy Act. In this case, in September 2021, Fadnavis was issued two to three notices by the cyber unit of Mumbai Police. In response to the notice, Fadnavis sent a reply in a sealed cover to the cyber unit that he would reply soon.
Fadnavis had not recorded the statement
Even after this, according to the notice sent by the cyber unit, Fadnavis did not register his reply. Due to this, now the cyber unit is legally recording his statement in the transfer police case directly at Sagar, the official bungalow of Fadnavis. Presently the CBI is investigating the matter. So far, former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh have been questioned in this matter.
