Discipline is necessary for everyone in a democratic system. Singhvi
Administrative Reforms has been the Chairman of Human Resource Development and Manpower Planning Committee, Rajasthan Abraham Lincoln had given the concept for democracy that the rule of the people, for the people, should be done by the people. The beliefs that must have been considered in this concept, they must have been said by thinking of the people to be educated, not to have narrow attitude of the people, not to be conservative of the people and to be aware of their duty for the country and society more than the rights. If we think in today’s scenario, do we live up to these beliefs? Reaction to every event is possible in democracy, but we must remember that democracy has been established in our country by attaining freedom on the concept of truth and non-violence.
Our thinking about democracy and freedom of expression has become that we can do anything and say anything. By blaming the governments for everything, we consider it to be our duty. Considering the size of our population, the police alone cannot do anything without public cooperation.
To indulge in sabotage and make arbitrary statements is like a termite to democracy. To run a democracy, discipline is also required among the people. Karl Marx has written for capitalism and communism that in capitalism the seeds of communism are hidden and in communism the seeds of capitalism are hidden. If any system is not adopted by being disciplined, then its opponents definitely get an opportunity. Abraham Lincoln forgot to say that the seeds of dictatorship grow in democracy and the seeds of democracy grow in dictatorships. We should nurture democracy by being careful and disciplined.
Discipline is necessary for everyone in a democratic system
