Election Commission directed to remove Deoghar Deputy Commissioner from the post, JMM objected

Ranchi, Dec 7 (PTI) The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha objected to the instructions of the Election Commission of Deoghar Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri to remove him from the post and not employ him for further election work, justifying the style of work adopted during the Madhupur by-election. The JMM today expressed displeasure with the Election Commission over the removal of Deoghar Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manjunath Bhajantri by the Election Commission on Monday.

Yoga had issued a letter to the Chief Secretary on December 6, directing the removal of the Deputy Commissioner from his post.

The Commission has expressed its displeasure over the wrongly done initialization in BJP MP Nishikant Dubey case.

This decision of the commission was termed by the JMM’s central general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya as unjustified and interference in the jurisdiction of the state government.
