Farmers’ Parliament organized in Jaipur today, organized in Birla Auditorium
Various issues including central agricultural laws were discussed
In the first session, a resolution was passed to cancel all the three bills.
The Kisan Sansad, convened by the Rajasthan Kisan Morcha on the call of the United Kisan Morcha, was held at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur on Thursday. Representatives from various farmer organizations from across the country attended here as farmers’ parliamentarians.
The Kisan Sansad began with a resolution by the farmers’ parliamentarians. He took a pledge that he would always work in the interest of the farmers and promote mutual brotherhood in the community. Soon after, homage was paid to the martyr farmers. This was followed by the national anthem and then a two-minute silence was paid to the martyr farmers. The house was divided into two parts. In which MSP was discussed in the first session and in the second session the members expressed their views on the problems of the country. The main issues of discussion were caste census, privatization, inflation, unemployment, etc. The first session was presided over by Hanuman Ram Choudhary and the second session was chaired by Manjit Rai. Earlier, initiating the proceedings of the House, the Kisan Bill was put up for discussion. Bill was proposed by Himmat Singh Gurjar, Ranjit Raju, Nafees Ali for discussion. The second proposal was made by Dr. Darshan Singh to pass the MSP bill, on which all the farmer MPs under the guidance of United Kisan Morcha passed a resolution to make and pass the MSP bill.

Farmers reached Parliament as ‘Farmer MPs’, farmers representatives from across the country, mainly from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Delhi.
