Four people died of Kovid in Bihar, 2,362 new cases

Patna, Jan 25 (PTI) Four more patients have died due to corona virus in Bihar while 2,362 new cases of infection have been reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department on Tuesday, one patient each died of Kovid in the state in the last 24 hours in Buxar, Madhepura, Rohtas and Saran.

Patna has the highest number of 284 new cases of Kovid in the state in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 253 new cases have come in Purnia and 206 in Samastipur.

Presently 14,770 patients of Kovid are undergoing treatment in the state.

During a virtual program of giving ambulance to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna under CSR grant of NTPC, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that about 11 crore five lakh people in the state have been vaccinated against Kovid.

Pandey said that the State Council of Ministers has approved a plan to bring 1000 new ambulances with the goal of delivering ambulances within 20 minutes in urban areas and 30 minutes in rural areas.
