The commerce and trade ministry mentioned the exemption can be relevant until September 30.
“The federal government has exempted the general public procurement of provides required for containment of Covid-19 world pandemic from the applicability of Public Procurement (Desire to Make in India) Order, 2017,” the ministry mentioned in a press release.
The federal government issued Public Procurement (Desire to Make in India) Order on June 15, 2017 to advertise home manufacturing of products and providers and improve revenue and employment within the nation.
