Abbas wrote the story after three days
Actually Raj Kapoor wanted Abbas to write the story of another film. Abbas, seeing Raj’s condition, told him that he would write a story in three days. Raj had told Abbas that he had no other way, he wanted to make a film with Rishi Kapoor and asked Abbas to write the story for that.
Three days later, Abbas wrote the story and gave it to Raj and the film was Bobby. This film came in the year 1973 and it marked the entry of Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in Hindi cinema. This film was a hit. This film brought the train of Raj Kapoor’s career on track.
