Ranchi :Jharkhand government will provide assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased in Trikoot Parvat Ropeway Accident. Chief Minister Hemant Soren made this announcement after a high-level meeting on Tuesday evening after returning from Sahebganj to Ranchi. The Chief Minister said that the government would also give assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased in Trikoot mountain ropeway accident and Lohardaga incident. Along with this, all the injured will be provided better treatment at the cost of the government. The Chief Minister informed that a high-level committee has been directed to be constituted to investigate the Trikoot ropeway accident.
The Chief Minister has directed the officers to constitute a high-level inquiry committee to investigate the Trikoot mountain ropeway accident and to include experts related to the ropeway in the committee constituted. In the meeting, directions have also been given to register an FIR regarding Trikoot Parvat ropeway accident.
