Shirsat’s allegation of showing no confidence
Eknath Shinde faction is calling the letter of Shirsat as the sentiments of common Shiv Sainiks. It said that in the last 18 years, he did not get a chance to meet Uddhav Thackeray and speak his mind. Also, he was stopped from going to Ayodhya along with Aaditya Thackeray. Shirsat has also raised the question that what was the reason behind stopping them? No confidence was expressed in him even in the Rajya Sabha elections. In the midst of all this, the debate has now intensified on the issue of Aaditya Thackeray’s departure on Ayodhya tour and stopping the MLAs. The question is arising that why the Shiv Sena MLAs were stopped from going to Ayodhya? Also whether the MLAs were really stopped by the Shiv Sena chief from going to Ayodhya?
Actually, Uddhav Thackeray has been seen trying to avoid any kind of controversy since the formation of Maha Vikas Aghadi. He had visited Shri Ram Janmabhoomi before becoming the Chief Minister. However, the reason for stopping other leaders may be to curb the feeling of mistrust in the coalition. The Ayodhya visits of Shiv Sena leaders were brought into question in Maharashtra itself.
Aditya came to Ayodhya on June 15
Aaditya Thackeray came to Ayodhya on June 15. Earlier, Raj Thackeray had announced his visit to Ayodhya, but due to protests and some other reasons, his visit was postponed. Aaditya Thackeray was scheduled to visit Ayodhya with Shiv Sena leaders, but later he himself reached Ayodhya. During this Aditya had said that Ram and Sita reside in our hearts. We have to establish Ram Rajya. He had said that we are all descendants of Rama. We belong to the people here. CM Uddhav Thackeray had also mentioned about coming to see Lord Ram during the swearing-in. Now it is clear from Shirsat’s letter that due to the stoppage of the visiting MLAs on this tour, their dissatisfaction had increased.
