The Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra has given a big relief to the school operators. The Thackeray government has decided that the annual vehicle tax for all school buses will be waived off. Meanwhile, schools were also discussed in the cabinet meeting by the Uddhav government. In the meeting, there was a churn regarding the spread of corona infection in rural areas of Maharashtra, especially in Marathwada. Along with this, it has been decided to make Marathi sign board mandatory on establishments.
According to the decision of the Uddhav government, the tax from April 1, 2020 to September 20, 2021 will be waived. In view of Corona, 100 percent vehicle tax exemption will be given to school buses. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, ‘I personally feel that till February we all should strictly follow the rules of Kovid. We have made rules regarding the vaccine in such a way that we have made double dose mandatory for most of the offices, government offices, travel. Still most of the people have not had the second dose. My appeal is that people should complete their vaccination soon. Along with this, it will be mandatory for all establishments to install Marathi signboards. Establishments having less than 10 employees will also have to put up Marathi signboards. Earlier the name was written in capital letters in English. But now the shops will have to put up signboards in Marathi-Devanagari script at par with other languages.
Let us inform that the cases of corona are increasing continuously in Maharashtra. Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that today more than 46 thousand cases of corona have been found in Maharashtra. While 86% of the patients have mild symptoms while 14% have more symptoms. There may be 2 lakh Kovid tests in the state. All the District Magistrates have been instructed to promote rapid testing.
BMC has also issued new instructions regarding corona testing. Due to the change in the guidelines of Kovid testing of the Central Government two days ago, now only those who have symptoms of Kovid will be tested. More symptomatic positive cases will come out than this.
