Voting was held in 6 Nagar Panchayats including Agartala Municipality, 13 Pur Parishads of Tripura on Thursday. The BJP has won 112 out of 334 wards. The ruling party has already formed boards in Mohanpur, Udaipur, Ranirbazar, Shantirbazar, Bishalgarh municipalities and Kamalpur and Jirania Nagar Panchayats. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the by-elections on Thursday. Trinamool and Left have complained that their candidates have been harassed. The arrow of all allegations is against the BJP.
