There is a wave of mourning not only in the country but also in Pakistan due to the death of Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar. Everyone is paying tribute by tweeting on social media in memory of Lata ji. From Pakistan’s news website to television channels are running the news of Lata Mangeshkar’s death. On the other hand, Pakistan’s Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in his tweet released on social media that Lata ji ruled the world for decades and the magic of her voice will remain in the world. An era of music has come to an end with his death, he said. 92-year-old Lata Mangeshkar was fighting a battle between life and death in the hospital for several days. Not only India but the whole world is saddened by his departure.

“Lata Mangeshkar’s death marks the end of an era in music,” Chaudhry tweeted in a condolence message in Urdu from Beijing. Lata ruled the music world for decades and the magic of her voice will live on forever. He is currently part of the delegation led by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Chaudhary said, wherever Urdu is spoken and understood, there is a crowd of people saying goodbye to Lata Mangeshkar.

He also tweeted separately in English and said, there is no legend. Lata Mangeshkar was a melodious queen who ruled the music world for decades. She was the unmatched queen of music. His voice will always rule the hearts of people. His death is trending on Twitter and almost all TV channels are flooding with the news of his death as well as hit songs. State-run Pakistan Television also carried the story of his death, reflecting the singer’s fan following and popularity across borders. The singing legend was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of South Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital in early January after he tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms.
