One person died in indiscriminate firing by constable in Kayadganj of Prayagraj district. There three people have been injured. The deceased has been identified as Rajan Gupta alias Vishal.
The constable posted in the Excise Department of Varanasi district had fired indiscriminately on four people in Kayadganj Bazar of Kayadganj police station area. Rajan Gupta alias Vishal (35), his brother Sandeep alias Bhole Gupta, businessman Ramji and a student Narayan Tiwari were injured. Rajan Gupta died during treatment at the hospital on Thursday. While the treatment of the other three is going on. Meanwhile, a large number of police forces have been deployed in Kayadganj police station and the surrounding area to reduce tension.
