Constable Babban Ram (55), a resident of Bansdih in Ballia district, posted in the police line, committed suicide by hanging himself with a nylon rope from the first floor of Adarsh ​​Barrack on Tuesday night with the help of a ladder railing. People came to know about the incident in the early hours of Wednesday. No suicide note has been found from the spot. According to the information received from his mobile, the constable had a conversation with his family on Monday night. The relatives have been informed.

Six arrested with banned drugs

Varanasi. The team of Alinagar Police and Crime Branch has arrested six inter-provincial smugglers with banned drugs near Chakia intersection. The smugglers were trying to go to West Bengal with 349 boxes of banned drugs in three vehicles. When the goods are collected, they are loaded in various vehicles and sent directly to West Bengal. It is used for intoxication. On this the police got alert. On Monday night, 349 boxes of banned drugs being loaded in trucks, cars and pickups were recovered from near Chakia intersection.

24 wagons of goods train fell, one died

Etawah. On the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), a goods train going from Tundla to Kanpur overturned in front of village Jaitiya of Vaidpura police station area at around 5 o’clock. The wagons of the goods train which were traveling at a speed of 100 km, ran over each other. About 24 ballast-laden wagons fell 25 feet. A child on the side of the track died after being buried under the debris, while two children and a woman were injured. Out of the total 58, 46 wagons have been damaged. According to the villagers, the goods train was going at a speed of about 100 km, suddenly the ballast laden wagons started overturning with a loud noise due to the derailment of the track. Four wagons with engine stopped about two km ahead of the spot, four wagons and the guard’s brake vehicle remained on the track. 12-year-old Sachin, a resident of Jaitia, who was grazing goats in the debris, died.

Hand got stuck in the donation box while stealing

In the morning, after asking for the keys from the caretakers of the tomb, the donation box was opened and the young man’s hand came out. The police admitted the youth to the hospital. Kotwali in-charge Vikas Rai said that Kishore is a resident of Mainpuri. No complaint has been received in the matter, so no action has been taken so far.
