Jaish-e-Mohammad militant Shamim Ahmed Safi is one of the culprits in the Pulwama incident. Last time, Jaish militants managed to escape in a gunfight with the security guards, but this time it did not happen. This incident is considered to be a great success for the security guards.

The militants clashed with security forces in the Tilwani mahalla in the Tral area of Avantipora in Jammu and Kashmir. The security guards killed Safi in a shootout between the two sides. Two days ago, Union Home Minister Amit Shah directed an end to atrocities against the minority community in Kashmir. For this reason, he gave the message to intensify the anti-terrorism campaign.

The security forces carried out the operation as per the instructions of the Union Home Minister. In that campaign, they got great success by eliminating Safi. Security forces recovered an AK-47 rifle, a large quantity of weapons and two hand grenades from the spot. It may be mentioned that Safi left home in 2019 and joined a militant organization called Jaish-e-Mohammad. Safi’s plan also worked behind the Pulwama attack.

A few days ago, another anti-terror operation was carried out in Avantipora. In that operation, two more conspiratorial militants, Mohammad Ismail Alvi alias Lambu and Sameer Ahmed Dar, were killed in the Pulwama attack. Lambu is actually the nephew of Jaish militant chief Masood Azhar. Safir was in contact with IED expert Lambu. Sophie used to run her own business after marriage. But after that he started getting involved in terrorist activities. The boy from Aripal village in Satora worked as a contractor for a 100-day work project until he became involved in terrorist activities.
