Shoaib Akhtar considers this Indian batsman more dangerous than Sachin, revealed himself


New Delhi: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who has blown the senses of batsmen around the world with his stormy bowling, has told that he used to sweat in getting out among the Indian batsmen. Shoaib Akhtar has revealed that even though it was a bit easy to dismiss a great batsman like Sachin Tendulkar, it was very difficult to bring down India’s wall.

Recalling that match, Akhtar said, ‘The final match was in Bangalore, I had dismissed Sadagopan Ramesh early. We took three-four wickets early. Sachin was not playing in that match. Shahid Afridi was telling me to bowl whatever and get Dravid out or else he will play long. Akhtar said, ‘I hit him straight on the pad and appealed to the umpire. I even said that today is Friday. They didn’t give the verdict in our favor, but in the end we won the match.

Shoaib Akhtar took revenge

Rahul Dravid scored 270 runs in the decider of the series during the tour of Pakistan in 2003-04. Dravid then led India to victory in the historic Test series.
