The days of heavy domestic LPG cylinders are about to change. For the convenience of the customers, the gas marketing companies are thinking of introducing new composite LPG cylinders. It is said that this new cylinder will look much better than before. Besides, the new composite LPG cylinder will also give an update on how much gas is left in the cylinder. MP Hema Malini is launching this new composite cylinder today.
The capacity of this new composite cylinder will be 10 kg. One cylinder can be bought for around 800 rupees. In total 26 cities including Delhi, Varanasi, Faridabad, Jalandhar, Jamshedpur, Patna, Mysore, Ludhiana, Raipur, Ranchi, Ahmedabad.
Note that the price of gas is not decreasing. However, since the amount of gas in the cylinder is low, its price is low. Earlier on September 1, state-owned companies raised the price of cooking gas again. As a result, the price of a 14.2 kg unsubsidised cylinder in Kolkata stood at Tk 911. Meanwhile, along with cooking gas, the price of commercial cylinders used in restaurants has also gone up. The price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has increased by Tk 83.50 to Tk 180.50.
Earlier, on July 1, the price of cooking gas cylinder was increased by Tk 25. Earlier, the price of cylinders had gone up in February and March. However, the price of gas cylinders was kept unchanged in April. Later in April, the price of a cylinder was reduced by Tk 10. However, the price of the cylinder was increased again in July.
