In four and a half years, the first and second phases of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana have been completed in the state. 57162.55 km in the state. Road construction has been completed. The maintenance work of these roads for 5 years has been given to the road builders. (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Agency, Bhanu Chandra Goswami said that in the third phase of the scheme, 6208.45 km of new roads are being constructed at a cost of Rs 4130.27 crore. In the third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, 18937.05 km will be constructed in Uttar Pradesh by the Government of India by the year 2024-25. The road construction target has been set.
