Kiev: The Russian army (Russia-Ukraine War) attacking Ukraine has destroyed the world’s largest plane. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba said on Sunday that the world’s largest plane was destroyed by Russian troops at an airfield near Kiev today. The aircraft AN-225 ‘Mriya’ (AN-225 ‘Mriya’), which means ‘dream’ in Ukrainian, was built by the Ukrainian aeronautics company Antonov. It was recognized as the world’s largest cargo plane.
Russia opened fire
The plane was reportedly torched by Russia at Hostomel airport outside Kiev. Condoling the loss of the plane, Ukraine tweeted from its official Twitter handle, ‘The world’s largest plane Marya’ (The Dream) was destroyed by the Russian army. We will rebuild the plane. We will fulfill our dream of a strong, free and democratic Ukraine.

‘Won’t Destroy Our Dream’
Along with the tweet, Ukraine has also posted a picture of the plane, on which it is written, ‘They burnt the biggest plane but our Mary will never be destroyed’. Dimitro Kuleba also tweeted about this. He wrote, ‘It was the world’s largest aircraft, the AN-225 ‘Maria’ (Ukrainian ‘dream’). Russia may have destroyed our Mary, but they will never be able to destroy our dream of a strong, free and democratic European state. We will prevail’!

The aircraft manufacturer said this thing
At the same time, the aircraft manufacturer Antonov tweeted, ‘We cannot report on the technical condition of the aircraft until the An-225 is inspected by experts. Wait for further official announcement’. Significantly, Russia has been firing cruise missiles at several Ukrainian cities since launching the attack on Thursday. Street fighting broke out on Sunday in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city.
