New Delhi: Every effort is made to provide all kinds of facilities to the passengers at New Delhi Railway Station. In this episode, now a new facility is going to start at the railway station. This facility will be provided by Delhi Metro.
Won’t have to walk much
Now commuters will get relief from walking more to go from New Delhi Railway Station to Metro Station. Skywalk has been prepared for this. This skywalk has been prepared jointly by the Railways and Metro (DMRC).
The Skywalk has been built by DMRC in collaboration with Northern Railway to provide direct connectivity between New Delhi Metro stations on the Ajmeri Gate side of New Delhi Railway Station and from Yellow Line and Airport Express Line. It will be inaugurated on Saturday at 10 am. After this, passengers will be able to use the skywalk.

This skywalk is an extension of the Foot Over Bridge (FOB) inside the railway station. The Ajmeri Gate side of the station connects with the New Delhi Metro station with multilevel parking at Bhavabhuti Marg with multiple entry and exit points.
242 meter length
The total length of this skywalk is 242 meters. With the construction of this skywalk, it will be easy to run the traffic smoothly at the railway station towards Ajmeri Gate. Facilities like escalators and CCTV have also been made available on the skywalk.
