NEW DELHI: The Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) on Friday arrested two individuals and recovered 125.48 kgs of heroin from them within the nationwide capital.
Based on the police, a group was assigned to trace and nab the heroin suppliers within the space in west district. On Friday, a lure was laid to nab the 2 accused who had headed from Wazirabad of their automobile to Ganda Nala Street close to Fuel Company Khyala, New Delhi. The police apprehended the 2 people for possessing 125.48 kgs of heroin which was wrapped in seven plastic luggage.
A case was then registered below Narcotic Medication and Psychotropic Substances Act and The Foreigners Act at Khyala police station.
The accused named within the FIR are Mohd Shafi, 48, and Tareena, 36, each residents of Kandhar, Afghanistan.
