NEW DELHI: Two males have been arrested for allegedly indulging in black-marketing of Remdesivir injections in northwest Delhi, police mentioned on Tuesday.
The accused have been recognized as Chaman Gupta, (22), a B.Com pupil and a resident of Khaira village, whereas his affiliate Neeraj (31), a resident of Mohan Backyard, was working in a jewelry store however bought unemployed throughout lockdown, they mentioned.
The police mentioned that on Could 8, Head Constable Arvind obtained an details about a person indulging in promoting of Remdesivir injection at excessive charges in Delhi’s Najafgarh space.
“To confirm the data, a devoted workforce was constituted and a entice was laid down at Khaira Mod. Round 8:30 pm, they seen that two individuals carrying polythene baggage have been coming in the direction of Khaira Mod. 4 Remdesivir injections have been recovered from the possession of the accused individuals, he mentioned.
“Throughout interrogation, it was revealed that each the accused have been unemployed and each indulged in black-marketing of Remdesivir injections. They offered every injection at Rs 15,000,” the DCP mentioned.
