Manish Singh Mirzapur: In the upcoming UP elections, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) led by Mamta Banerjee will not contest, but the Trinamool Congress will make every effort and campaign for the Grand Alliance. TMC leader Lalitesh Pati Tripathi has shared this information by tweeting. Lalitesh’s tweet has put an end to all the speculations, in which it was being said that TMC will also participate in the UP elections and Lalitesh himself will contest from Mirzapur’s Madihan seat.

It was decided on January 18 that TMC would not contest the UP elections.
Putting an end to all the speculations by tweeting on Saturday, Lalitesh wrote that in the meeting held between the SP and TMC on January 18, it was decided that TMC will not contest the UP elections, but will make every effort and campaign for the Grand Alliance.

Tripathi family will not participate in elections for the first time
However, there was talk that Laliteshpati Tripathi, who left Congress and joined Trinamool Congress from Mirzapur’s Madihan seat, would contest on TMC ticket from this assembly. Lalitesh himself has put an end to the speculation by tweeting. The Tripathi family, who was a strong leader of Congress in UP, will stay away from elections for the first time.
